Are the cabs the same on 52 1/2 ton and a 52 6100??
 

A buddy of mine has a 52 wheat truck and were trying to find out if their is a difference in cabs between a 1/2 ton and a 2 ton. I know the fenders and hood are different but wondering if the cab is or not. Were doing a complete restoration on the wheat truck and want to order the right parts. Thanks for any help. :chevy:

There are small year to year differences in the cabs but if you stick with 52 year model pieces you should be good.

I've got a 1-1/2 ton cab sitting beside a half ton cab out by the garage and cant find differences in the cabs them selves.

There may be some mounting changes where the cab goes to the frame but other than that, they are the same cabs.
