Spid Option Question

I found thi truck for sale on Ebay and I finf something different (strange) about the tach option. On the build sheet line ticket it shows the tach option but it doesn't show it on the spid and I'm thinking it should as a stand alone option on the spid and it doesn't ,can anyone explain ?

Re: Spid Option Question

Looks like they forgot to add it to the SPID. Might want to verify that the build sheet VIN match the SPID's.

I should have said the numbers match. If you look at the upper right corner of the build sheet the serial number is there and it matches the spid serial number.

Yes its a 69 and a pretty cool truck. I am wondering could it be that the tach is included when you get the overdrive?

No, What you have is documented proof of a human error. At least you have the build sheet, so you can prove to anyone that your truck came with both tach and speed warning. Very nice truck BTW.

Re: Spid Option Question

Check the day of the week that the truck was built. It's been claimed that the trucks built on Mon and Fri were more prone to this due to foks getting excited over the weekend or hungover from it.Not that that would prove it,it's just an indicator that it's more possible.

or care... but while we are on it I see in the upper left corner of the build sheet it says 28 10-23-68. Now I dont know what the 28 means but I'm thinking 10-23-68 is the build day and that day was a Wednesday so this should be a well put together truck, right ???
