4l80 on a 71 c10???
 

What did u all use to make tranny get into gear and not to be on the way of the headers? Did u all fab a braket or what u use pics will help a lot thanks I am here at the shop right now trying to figure out a way thanks...

Lokar cable shift can be routed however you like. There is a rod version, also, but like you said it might get in the way of the exhaust.
