1960-62 fuel tank

1 Attachment(s)
These tanks are designed to fit between the frame rail and rearward of the axle on 1960-62 Chevy and GMC trucks. By moving the tank out of the cab, you gain much needed room to allow for further customization, also increases fuel capacity and safety!

Made of heavy gauge aluminum, these tanks offer a light weight design and are fully baffled.
I cannot find the post but here is a tank that POL sells,.

I spoke with the company that builds them , and was able to make a duplicate of what they sell. I did this back in 08 so I do not have the drawing any longer. I can tell you that it was not as easy as I thought but I got it done. My pick up is not the same as how they have it but it does not matter. I add internal baffles in mine as well. Again nothing that matters for the street truck.

Includes:
• 21 Gallon Aluminum Fuel Tank
• All mounting hardware

Due to popularity please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.

For the Added E.F.I. option allow up to 2-4 weeks, this is a special order.

We also offer the trap door style tank that comes with a chrome cap installed on it. Add $35.

Note: Any alterations to the tank, whether it is omitting or adding, there is a minimal of $69 upcharge. Please inquire.

well I would be happy to sell them for say 550 each HA HA just kidding, POL sells them , like I said they do not make them and I was lucky enough to talk with the builder and with my specs and his I was able to build my own.. along with the talent to tig weld.. I think POl sells them for about 450 or so??

Blazer tank is too narrow for the 60-62 for sure cannot tell you on the 63. But I can say that without building extra items to hold the tank in it will be approx 10 -12 inches too narrow.

Any issues w/ a tank in the rear like this and also installing a towing receiver?
