68 short fleet f/s
 

just got it has a 250 six and a 3 speed on the floor the glass has been broke out of it but it has the chrome trim the body is near perfect the drivers fender has a puncture in it about as big around as a broom handle and the drivers rocker needs replaced what i have seen of it so far the rest is near perfect it has a steel floor the tailgate is bowed out about an inch asking $1,500 if i can buy a trailer toorrow ill take it to pigeon forge to sell if interested reply here

well here is the low down the guy told me it was locked up so i jumped it freed up the points and choke and drove it on the trailer it used to be gold with gold interior so i am wondering if it is a 50th it now has a rattle can paint job which is midnight blue on the outside and red on the inside but anyway their is no rust under the battery it needs rockers and the only other rust i found is in the inside of the passenger bedside (pics inclosed) it needs all the glass, a battery and one tire and it could be a daily driver how can i tell if it is a 50th cause if it is i may keep it it also has all the chrome trim except for 2 pieces and what is their is ding free and it is missing the "c" from chevrolet on the hood bare with me their is 10 pics

if it still has the option sticker on the glove box, what is the paint code? i can't recall it off the top of my head but if you post it, i will know it. Mine used to be a 50th before it turned green, keep us posted

update i got the battery to take a charge and i replaced the tire. right now it is out side idleing in the driveway so all it needs is windows and it could be a daily driver

For a 50th Anniversary Model
The Glove box option sticker would have the two options as follows

Paint code = 551 Off White/Gold
Interior code = 625 Parchment

I believe the code for saddle exterior would be 555
I am unsure of the interior saddle code.
A 50th Anniversary model in original condition would have the Custom or CST Emblems on the doors and the color seperator chrome strip around the back of the cab.
These could have been removed prior to the respray.

That truck will make someone a nice project maybe even you as folkes get more attached the more they work on them.
