Factory 4 leaf front springs?
Did GM ever put 4 leaf front springs underneath 1-ton trucks? I snagged a pair of factory-appearing ones from an '85 dually out of the junk yard the other day just because they were there, but I was wondering what they would do to the height of my stock '83 K20. Does anyone know? I'm sure it'll make it ride like a dump truck but thats ok.
Thanks! |

As for the K10/20's owned by me, I added a leaf to every square body that I had put a plow on. Some guys would add an extra leaf if they were running a big winch/bumper on the front. |

My 62 k20 has 4 leaves in the front. As far as I know, it is all original.

The original post was about a set of springs from a 1985 1ton 4x4. This thread has been about stock 1ton square body truck front springs, which would cover 1977-91. Pic of my 1986 CUCV D30 which has 3 front leafs also. |
