Engine Hours

Somehow the engine hours display got reset on my '06 GMC Yukon XL Denali. Is there any way to recover that? Not sure what happened, got into it one day and the engine hours was at like 2.5 when it was showing over four thousand....

Its common, No way to recover the hours....Short of reprogramming the cluster That WILL act-up again, With whatever hours you "think" were on it.

03-06 & 07 Classic Clusters are JUNK. I know my 06 has reset, 2,500 engine hours with over 200,000 miles.

Got another question about a no start condition that has happened twice now. Twist the key and hear a click at the solenoid. Prolly start another thread...

Check the battery cable terminals for corrosion & Make sure they are tight.
The bolts & rubber sleeves need to be removed from the battery cables to be cleaned.
