Hubcap question

I have a hubcap i found in our garage off of an 8 lug chevy, it looks like the dog dish caps on my 72 c20 but its chrome and the bowtie is yellow, im thinking its from a mid 70s? But im not sure any ideas id like to know what im looking for to try and find 3 more because they look good on my truck with the wheels painted the grey like the old corvette rallys and a good beauty ring , i have a pic just need to figure out how to upload

Re: Hubcap question

3/4 ton would be approx. 12" across, and the yellow bowtie caps are 73 to 77 or so...

And I believe those should be aluminum, not chrome. Would be a new one on me to see someone take an earlier chrome one and paint yellow over the blue bowtie!

Like this one! I like them too. Only my 4wd hubs were swapped for Warn units and are smaller in diameter than the spicer hubs and I would have to stick with the later style, not sure if it would look bad with the non-matching caps.

Actually, the aluminum came later.
69-72 were chrome with blue bowtie.
73-75 or so were stainless with yellow bowtie but basically the same as the 69-72
after 75 or so was the aluminum and was a lot "flatter" of a cap.
