Tailgate Restore Help
 

First timer on the forum so go easy on me...I'm in the process of restoring my 71 Cheyenne tailgate trim and need advice on how to remove the chrome "CHEVROLET" letters from the metal tailgate trim piece. My goal is to remove and save the letters, then lay down a missing piece of woodgrain decal, then re-install the letters again. If anyone has experience doing this without damaging the metal trim please let me know. :chevy:
