Ot: Whooo Hooo!!
this has nothing to do with nothing, but i just got my old job back for the summer and i'm STOKED! i was worried they might be full or might not be intrested in hiring someone on a temporary basis, but as soon as i spoke witht eh old manager he hired me back up. this is one reason i like to leaves jobs on good terms with the employer. now i can afford to finish buildin my motor.......WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!:D
|
Where's you gonna be slavin at? As a teacher, I feel it my duty to tell you that I get the entire summer OFF, and still get paid. :D
|
oh I thought for a second maybe you got your hair cut. :D congrats on the job man. I'm still working on getting my first job.:( Your goin to Sears right?
|
hahhahah hair cut, he needs one!
Glad to hear it. When do you plan to have the engine in the truck and running? |
That's great Ryan! Now for more goodies for that engine.....
|
Sweet Ryan!! Sounds like that engine will be in there in no time then. Also looks like I know who to get with on tires later ;)
|
Congrats man!!!! Now get back to work and make some money so you can finish that motor.. :D
|
i'm goin back to discount tire for the summer, i've been workin at sears auto the past year.
HOPEFULLY, the motor will be in and runnin by the first week in july and i can cruze it to TIAO with the 408. but the carb, ignition and rear end are gonna be the same ones i'm runnin now, hopefully by mid august i'll have the money to get the new 750 vac sec carb, dave ray distributor and msd 6al, and the 12 bolt fitted with 3.73's and a posi. but the truck should be operational cmoe july:cool: whooo hooo, i can't wait |
Good news indeed.
One question, why a Dave Ray distributor? Why not a MSD? Dave's distributors are good I guess, but my vote is MSD, hands down. No comparison in quality IMO. You do know that MSD has distributors that are not HEI, right? :) |

bascially the same reason i'm going with a tpc built 750 holley vacuum secondary. i give ty all my specs on the motor and the application and he builds the carb specifically for it, so takes the intimidation out of tuning a holley, truley bolt on and go. |
the tpc carbs sure are purty too:D gonna have him powdercoat mine black like this one he did. it will look good the way i'm doin the motor, can't have clashing colors now can we?
