A.I.R. Injection on TBI 454

What year did GM stop using A.I.R. injection on the TBI engines? I just picked up a '90 C2500 Suburban w/ a TBI 454 for the engine/trans and I noticed it didn't have it.

Sir - you probably have Federal Emission Certified trucks. The '87 SBC (305/350) were equipped with AIR for CA certified light duty trucks. Seen a few of them at JY. However, in grand scheme of things AIR is not needed on EFI trucks - it is only used during cold start to bring CAT up to temperature depending on ECM calibration. The rest of the time it is not used (except perhaps during WOT, which I have yet to see). Things can be very strange here in Kalifornia!
