undecided on tire size for truck

ok guys, so ive got the wheels picked out that im buying for my truck, and i know which brand of tire i will be running in the back, but i cant decide what size tire i should go with so my truck LOOKS right. i currently have 235/60R15s (26" dia) up front and 275/60R15s(28" dia) out back, when i added smaller tires up front it lowered the front of the truck down (not a bad thing in itself) a lil bit further than i wanted it which in turn made the rear end appear higher (going for a more level look - not so raked)

Anyway, the wheels im going to get are the new Weld RT-S S71 sport forged racing wheels in a 15x6 front and 15x10 rear width. I will be running current tires up front and im trying to decide what size to go with out back. i want the tire as wide as i can get but id like a shorter tire to hopefully level the truck back out a bit more. Theres not a whole ton of sizes to really choose from, and most of the tires in the widths i want are 28-30" tall, where id like a shorter tire to match fronts better height wise, but still have the width out back of a mini tubbed look street/strip look.

If anyone has an idea of what i can run thatd be awesome, heres trucks current stance with brand new 235/60R15s (26" dia) tire up front and worn down 275/60R15s (28" dia) tire out back.

Pics arent grear, but they give you an idea anyway of what im dealing with, i need new better pics of it this year

295/50/15 are 27.1 inches tall and have a 10 inch tread width and a 12 inch section width (sidewall to sidewall)

Why not keep the 275/60s in the rear and go to a 235/70 in the front? Then it would sit level, around 28" all the way around. Maybe even get rid of that rake.

They do, but you have to get out of the 80's with the 15" tire size. Take a look at 18's or 20's and bring that truck to life.

i know they offer in bigger wheel sizes, and ive considered that, i just need something that will still hook as im dropping a 700+hp BBC into it in the near future, not sure if 18s or 20s would give me enough sidewall to be able to launch correctly, unless i buy 2 sets of wheels tires, track use and "pro touring" look

lol yeah i know all about the tires, what would be a good set of 18s or 20s for it that still represent a pro street/pro touring look but look good on my truck, i know for sure im buying a dedicated set of track purpose wheels/tires for it in 15s, but if you could help with link and pics to 18s or 20s that still fit the look please do!

Re: undecided on tire size for truck

These trucks look better with a small rake. They are designed to be aero efficient with a 2" from the factory. Well, like a brick going down the street on it's small face instead of its big face!!
