no motor, needs driver floor. has sm465, NP205 transfer, and everything else is workable. i believe it is a good buy for 400 ?

Hood, grille, and headlight bezels appear as 1979.

Looks more like a 77-79 to me with the "attached" headlight and blinker.

On his, the hood has the crease across the front. At least 1979, wrong grille for 1980.

Also, the illustration above is incorrect. The crease in the hood did not appear in 77.

Ahh on the very front end of the hood. Funny don't guess I ever noticed that before.

That's a good buy for $400 bucks. What are your plans for truck?

Re: year identification?

i did a little reading on a chevy site and it said that the headlight bezels used in 79 were also used in 1980 but in 80 a strip of chrome was added under the grille ?

Chevymaniac, yea i thought for 400 bucks i couldnt go wrong. my plans for this truck is to make it a around town driver and off roader. lots of woods trails and mud holes out here so something to play with would be fun i thought. My c10 does not like slick pavement nevermind dirt haha. Can't wait to see the look on my old man's face when chevy #7 rolls into his yard.. i will never hear the end of it.
