Hey JKirn are those 5 and a half inch wide rims? Trying to decide what to put on mine. Looking to go more original. Thanks

nah, looks good now. it might benefit from some stocker caps though. could be wrong, but I think 4X's had hubcaps through '62. Anyway, nice truck!

Hell...that looks perfect AS IS! Very nice. I hated the look of the 60-61's prior to finding these forums but I'm a changed man. Some very nice ones here.

i gotta say, that is really nice - and I would not touch the wheels/tires, etc. Black is correct for the 4x4 solid truck I believe - and I like em without caps! (not that it matters what I like, but just in case you were wondering...) Would look awesome with caps too, but I'd leave em black. 2nd choice - white. 3rd choice, body color. To me, would not look right with modern wheels on it, even truck rallies. Just my 2 cents - it's so perfect as is.

Re: 1960 k-20

would it not be similiar to the one in yours?. some did use that tubular crossmember or was that only GMC. the eng mount flange for the I6 was on the frt side and the v engs on the rear. the vg eng mounts used the 3 holes on either side of the timing cover like the 55-57 passenger car and truck(55-59)
ron

Not sure Ron the frame was some what hacked up., but it looks like it may have had the same tubular mount. I think it also used the horshoe mount, not sure

There is a thread going now for a 60-66 trucks calender. Is it OK with you if I nominate your truck for it J.kirn?

I don't see any requirement for being a supporting member.

I'll nominate you, if you can post some good pictures, or you can nominate yourself too.
