Which wheel studs to use?

Wanting to change out the wheel studs on the 72. Will maybe be putting slicks on once in a while and not really too excited about having 40+ year old wheels studs. May upgrade axles in the future but not today. Anyone know which ARP studs to get or other recommendations? Don't want long studs that stick out as will be running billet wheels most of the time

I would contact ARP,they should get you right.Just a reminder, the studs have to go all the way thru the lug nuts to pass tech when you have the slicks on.The Billets may need a shorter stud...

You guys dont want to hear this....but I will bet that the stock studs will handle more "trash" on the strip, than a couple aftermarket sets will?If I got your interest, I will say that I installed aftermarket studs in a 70 chevelle (468 BB). I dont like to "bash" the aftermarket vendors, so I have no name brands to talk about. I will say that these studs were so brittle...if you stuck the threads, you busted that stud off.....& it did not take that much tork! (snap) As hard as I have run my old truck....I have never snapped a stock lug. I have never run slicks on the truck tho....crazyL
