Will a 98 Suburban 1/2 ton 2WD rear end

Does any happen to know if a 98 Suburban 1/2 ton 2WD rear end fit in my 71 2wd C-10... I know Il have to redo the perches but my concerns are the width,same 5 bolt pattern and yoke for the driveline,,,,thank ahead jim
