This is a factory pinstripe i believe I found on an original l paint job truck near my house
It may not be what your looking for, now that I think about it but I need to post a pic on here |
Re: flamed pinstripe idea
actually it does help because i was contemplating what part of the body line to follow and after seeing the pic i think i want the stripe to follow on the vertical surface above the door handles.

A little over the top but a flame pin stripe anyway. And my old 72 cheyenne in the background.

Re: flamed pinstripe idea
My friend does this type of work and often ends a side stripe with a flair of flame. Sometimes on the front, too. That may be a bit subtle for what you want. The Harley Edition Ford is a great example to use. I'm sure whoever does the job for you will have access to multiple images of those for reference. I have seen similar jobs done before but have no pictures. Here's an example of a flare at the end(not my friend's work)

Re: flamed pinstripe idea
My buddy has had a local sticker shop make several for him, they just make the back part with the flame and he just used regular pinstripe on the rest.
