3-on-tree to floor

Hey, I recently purchased a '69 c10, and I am wondering if there is a kit I can get to switch the shifter from on the steering column to on the floor.

Yes. Hurst makes a column to floor conversion kit. Best thing I did to my '69 step side.

Mystery Shifter by Hurst. Good luck finding one. Try ebay.

How about this one? I'm pretty sure my tranny is a saginaw.

It would work if you find an installation kit. Hurst doesn't sell them anymore. None on ebay. You could use the kit from a Mr. Gasket shifter and adapt the mastershift to it.

Stay away from Mr Gasket, I have one and it's junk, it does actually allow you to select gears in a random manner but it is far from precise. I didn't want to spend the $$ due to future plans of swapping to a 4 speed so I cheaped out.

If I had it to do over again I'd try this...

Could I adjust/modify the installation kit from a 4 speed?

I couldn't find install kits for this type of application anywhere. Maybe I just suck at the internet.

You could use one from a 4 speed. Depends on your skills and on the size of your wallet. Won't be a bolt on. I used one on a 56 chevy 3 gear once.
FWIW I've used the Mr. Gasket shifters on 4 different trucks and have had no problems. You gotta set em up right is all. And they're cheap on ebay. Compare 400 for a hurst and kit to 40 for a Mr. Gasket.

I found an installation kit for a Hurst mastershift when I was looking for parts for my hotrod today. If you're interested pm me for info.
