That's Campa's cruiser ,it was in Street Truck's mag a couple of month's ago.

griesel72 05-06-2003 07:53 PM

looks like a lot of work to me

jcueckert13 05-06-2003 07:55 PM

that is a complete waste of sheet metal and the fool that built it is a waste of oxygen. blazers are meant to be lifted not dropped :flag: :gmc: :burnout:

cheyenneman 05-06-2003 07:59 PM

Thats a little harsh. To each his own. I think two wheel drive Blazers are hot.

67cst 05-06-2003 08:00 PM

if they are meant to be lifted why did they make 2wd's? blazers are awesome lowered and lifted, different strokes for different folks jcueckert13

SCOTI 05-06-2003 08:13 PM

Dang... let us know what you really think w/o holding back next time.

jcueckert13 05-06-2003 08:14 PM

i will admit to each his own. i guess i have lived in nm to long. after seeing so many lowerd mini vans seeing dropped cars and trucks is just irritating

Jackal2k9 05-06-2003 08:22 PM

lol i thought dropped trucks were bad too until i drove one. Lots of power and a good ride for cheap. find a car as fast as a good dropped truck and see how much more it costs.

67cst 05-06-2003 08:28 PM

lowered mini vans??? who on earth does that? or were you smoking something at the time....

jcueckert13 05-06-2003 08:35 PM

go to albuquerque new mexico and their everywhere. i live in an area where the neighbors are asses who lay telephone poles in the road as speed bumps.(took out the front strut tower on my subaru) so lowered trucks are a bad idea

old Rusty C10 05-06-2003 08:39 PM

i dont like lowered personally but that truck had to take alot of work to build.... even tho i dont like it im sure alot of people do

Riveted1 05-06-2003 08:57 PM

sorry I'm not. new mexico is the lowrider capital of the world. there are people here who will lower anything

Smooth68 05-06-2003 09:05 PM

That is a killer dash in that Blazer - one sweet ride.

jcueckert13 05-06-2003 09:43 PM

I see what you mean...anything in excess is a crime! $49,000? To each his own!

progress 05-06-2003 10:11 PM

I really like that Blazer but do you notice how, when it is dropped and the top is painted light...the bottom black that the top looks way too tall? I have seen this on other dropped trucks as well. It needs about a 1" chop to get it back to the right proportions. Just my 0.02...still wouldn't kick it out of my garage!!!!

I think I will have to go out on a limb here and agree. The only reason that Blazers were built was the offroading/camping craze of the late 60's/early 70's...well, that and the Ford Bronco, International Scout, and the Jeeps. The 2wd Blazer evolved from the 4wd for whatever reason...I'm sure that GM didn't foresee 2wd Blazers being the next big thing, which is why there are less 2wd's than 4wd's. I could be wrong, but I am partial to 4x4's and it shows, I guess. That being said, that Blazer is still cool...but it needs a choptop to compensate for the paint and lowering, like Progress said.

MAC67 05-07-2003 02:22 AM

$49k, and it's got just 136,000mi on it! LOL...

baggedblaz 05-07-2003 04:34 AM

i have both lifted and lowered!
and i just got a new one and lowered it a 71 burb,
its just a preference of styling .to each his own and you know about opinions right?(everyones got one) i hear both sides because i have both lifted and lowered rides ...
i thinks its all crap do whatever makes you happy!
heck theres some hillbilly here that has a lifted
cadddy hearse on 36inch ground hawgs i think it should be bagged on 20's myself but then again opinions vary...... (no offense to any hillbillys)

70 Jimmy 05-07-2003 08:21 AM

Awesome truck! I would love to have my Jimmy look that nice. I'm glad I converted my 4x4 to 2wd. The great thing about having an open mind is that you can appreciate more than one or two things. The great thing about having a closed mind is that you always have something to b!tch about. Now I'll go back to wasting sheet metal and oxygen.:D :gmc:
