Chromed screws for intake
 
I want to install an edelbrock intake but i would like use chromed screws, today I went to harware and fastener store and I found some but it says five, six and or 8 grade, What could be the best or right choice. also are all the screws an the intake the same long?
forgot to say is a 350 sbc

Grade 5 is plenty good. WES

I would use ARP stainless.

Grade 5 bolt would be fine, or get some allen head bolts...

when you install bolts for intake do not ferget to put thread sealant on them to keep intake nice lookin

Ive got a great cheap solution, if u have the right tools. Get stainless bolts, sand the tops smooth, and the polish the poop out of it. It takes a while but the end result looks great. My dad did this years ago to his sbc '51 chev and it still looks great.

ACE hardware here has stainless & chrome bolts.

I've been doing this for a while. ;) It makes a nice touch. It's amazing how many people will ask where I get my bolts. It's fun to see their reaction when I tell them Lowe's. :lol: Most say "I've never seen bolts like that at Lowe's. I'll have to look again next time I'm there."

Profe56, if you want, I have a set of polished stainless intake bolts. I bought them from Summit Racing a few months back, and only used them for a month, then realized my engine was shot. I'm changing to an LS1 engine and no longer have a need for them. $10 and they're yours.

I also found stainless with the bowtie on the head at Classic Industries. not bad $19.00 + tax but I have to go Huntington beach
