Found my build sheet!
1 Attachment(s)
It was "plastered" to the front of the bed. When I took the cab off, there it was. Considering that's actually out in the weather, unprotected, this truck must have lived a pretty sheltered life for it to last 40 years!
Anyone else seen them stuck to the bed like that? Unless someone's had the cab off before, there's no way a previous owner could have put it there, really. |

That's crazy that it survived that well. My bed has an outline in the paint of a sheet of paper with a piece of tape on the corner.

Re: Found my build sheet!
I wonder if that has anything to do with matching the bed up with the cab/body on the assembly line and some made it out of the factory with the build sheet still attached.

Now,I gotta look on my 68!
Yours' is the only other one I've seen completyely glued on. I have a 67 Impala and it's build sheet is done the same way, except it's glued to the inside of the left rear armrest.Car was built in Atlanta. Mike.:chevy: |

I saw a bed for sale somewhere, maybe here on the board and you could see the outline of where a peice of paper was taped on, where you found yours.

Great find!!! that said, is that a typical place to find it?
I was wondering about my build sheet, if its still in or on the truck and the best place to look for it? Behind the seat? in the seat? In the webbing or? any ideas guys? Coley |
