Front bumper/Rear bumper
I have a 1953 Chevy AD 3100. Will the front bumper fit on the rear? They look pretty much like they might. Is there a support brace that I can use because they look pretty flimsy. Thanks

Re: Front bumper/Rear bumper
The truck front and rear bumpers have a different curve to them. If I make it home before dark I'll see if I can get of both side by side.
The brackets for the rear bumper are different too. |

Here you go. My work days are pretty long.
The front has a lot more curve than the rear. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...p/DSCN3953.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...p/DSCN3952.jpg I was well supervised when I was taking the photos of the bumper. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...v/DSCN3955.jpg |

Yes, I see it is a bit different. Thanks for taking the time to photograph it for me. Nothing like a picture to tell the tale.

If I didn't know for a fact that my cat hasn't renewed her passport I would swear that she was your supervisor.

Then she is the third one in the pnw that bears a very close resemblance. One of my JR Hi school mates has the third one.
I actually went to town and bought some spikes and drove them in the studs in the shed wall and hung those bumpers up today. |
Re: Front bumper/Rear bumper
Do any of you know if all rear bumper brackets are all 2 hole on the rear where it mounts to frame. My 51 the brackets on the front dont match the valance or the front bumper and someone before me started restoring it and I was wondering if they accidently mixed up the brackets since I do not have any to compare them to, but they do mount to the frame correctly.
