Works on my wife ;) Actually that's all we drive are classics. It's much cheaper than a new or new/used car.

We figure I restore them cheaper than what a new car will cost, insurance is cheaper, parts are cheaper, It's always worth more than a new car after the new car depreciates so it's an investment at the same time, and I'm always driving something unique that isn't a cookie cutter car. it's a win/win situation...I say do it.

I can come up with a dozen other good reasons if you need them to talk her into it ;)
