72 complete re-wiring kit

Does anyone know of a complete re-wiring kit for a 72 chevy? Or at least a schematic?

I've been having a lot of problems with my wiring and figure it's time to just get it over with and re-do it. For example, this past weekend I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my ignition switch and I started maneuvering it around to get a better look at it (with the key completely out) and the motor tried starting. yikes.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Go to Painless wiring. They have a nice set up.

If you want to completely re-wire the truck, check out American Auto Wire. I have a kit from them but i haven't gotten to the point of installing it yet. I did alot of research on this topic on this board and elsewhere, and american auto wire is what i came up with.

I just finished doing mine with a Painless kit. Overall I am very satisfied.

In my opinion,, Kwik Wire has a nice selection of harness's and are lower priced than painless. The American Auto Wire kits ,, from what I understand,, are plug and play with all of the correct connectors and plugs whereas the kwik wire and painless generic harness's have to have the plugs spliced on.

I am in the same boat as you, bought the AAW kit but haven't reached that stage to install it yet. I can't wait to I start it, this AAW kit looks so well put together with each kit bagged seperately and deailed instructions to go along with it. It actually looks like fun (wiring is fun?????).
