70 GMC and 72 Chevy still for sale...SOLD
 

Due to unforseen circumstances, the deal fel through at the last minute, and the trucks are back for sale.

Same deal as my last thread, $1500 takes all. However, I will not call the trucks sold until the I have the money in the bank. So in other words, first one to put money in my hand gets the trucks.

For those interested before, I deleted all the PM's sent to clean out my mail box as I thougth the deal would go through. Otherwise, I would have run down the list calling/e-mailing people back in order of interest. I am sorry we have to start back at square one.

For what it is worth, I drove both trucks around the neighborhood last week and they did fine. Also all the parts are already loaded in the 72 Chevy (which is in the barn) and ready to go their new home.

Sorry for not responding sooner. We haven't replaced our home computer yet, and I am only able to access the site at work.

360hp350: I would prefer to sell both trucks together. If I don't have any takers by Monday, I will sell the GMC for $850. What do you think?

The GMC is a shortbed isnt it? I couldnt tell from the picture. I guess a GMC will have the same motor mounts as a Chevy. I am wanting to put a big block in it.

Both trucks are long beds.

I am not an expert, but I think you would have to use different motor mounts for a big block. Both trucks are small block 350's

Would you take any less than $850. I really hate to make you take less but I just don't have that much money. If I had it I'd buy it for that but I just spent it all on my 78 Big Block Suburban. Thanks!

I just got into the office and got your note. I had to leave early yesterday to "negotiate" with the insurance company and the builder. Everything is going ok, just making sure everything is flowing smoothly.
