DIY overdrive indicator for non tilt!
 

So it's been bugging me that there's never been an indicator for overdrive transmissions on non tilt columns. I tried making decals, and printing on clear plastic sheet of the exact stock looking indicators, with the added gear of course. While they look great in photoshop, as soon as they are printed, they are barely visible in any light color, and would only show up in brighter colors. I found these 1/4 inch white vinyl letters in hobby lobby and thought it'd be a perfect chance to get as close as i could to the "ididit" of "flaming river" style indicators, without the price tag. This was my first trial, but have the means to make literally a dozen of them out of one 3 dollar sheet of letters and numbers, so i can afford to make mistake after mistake! I also included the photoshop'd version of the lettering in black, to show what that looked like.... I'm still dreaming of it in the light mint color, but that's just a pipe dream! :waah:

People who letter trucks can make those for you in whatever color you want. May be more than $3 but I wouldn't think it would be much more.
