1966 vin decoder
 

I have a 66 Chevy truck and can't find any where a vin decoder. All I can find is for 67 and newer can anyone help please!

Look on the LMC truck website, be about 2-3 pages into the catalog. they have a great 60-66 vin decoder

Just in case you dont have a LMC catologe, theres a 1960-66 FAQ thread near the top of the page and this is one of the posts it has,theres a vin decoder a couple posts down:

Thank you this has been very helpful can any one tell me how to tell if I have a 250 or a 292 in my truck

The 230 and 250 (left pic)will have short pushrod covers the 292 (right pic) will have tall pushrod covers. the covers are on the passenger side of the block directly under the head.

hmmm i may have a in complete vin. I came up with a
ZD1364A

its a 66 GMC and the title says 1966 GMC model: I1001 vehicle body:TPK

help?
