My new toy - 1969 C20 Let the build begin!

Just bought a 1969 C20.....the first I'm gonna work on is getting a mini tune up. Changing spark plugs, spark plug wires, new Oil, oil filter....

Anybody recommend a spark plug brand, spark plug wires, what kind of oil, type of oil filter..what else should I do??

looks like someone actually bought a truck where the hard work was done. congrats on the new toy. You can get as many thoughts on oil as we have members. I for one use Amsoil in everything I have.
