What should my idle rpm be at in Drive?

Right now, it's about 750-775rpm. Is that about where it should be?

Sounds good to me. Should be about 850 when in Park at warm idle. Some might have to run a 900-1200 rpm idle with the cams they have just depends.

Typically a stock motor with an AT should be around 800.

wow I wish mine was at 500 in gear. I put mine in gear and it goes down to 250. I'm taking it back into the shop Monday to get the idle and air/fuel mixture checked. They said if it dies in gear to bring it back out and they would tune it up.

I'm doing that exact thing this weekend, except I'm going to use a wideband OČ sensor :D

Actually...yes, LoL. I used to own a 97 Eclipse GS-T before my vettes, and that little thing ran low 12's in the high 108's, twas mostly stock too! But I never used a Wideband to tune it! Those things are like $1000! Luckily, a buddy from CF has one, and said I could use it anytime I want. :D

Damn I'm low to then. I'm at 600 in gear.

700-750 in park 500-550 in drive. With the lower idle I get better throttle response from a stop and I like to hear the cam :p

700-750 in nuetral w/ manual
Had it at 800 rpm for awhile, helped with lights and electrical hogs.

Warmed up, foot on brake, trans in drive, pop gas (down & up real quick). If engine dies, it's too low. Adjust accordingly.
