Anyone on this forum care to comment on how this might work in my truck which has a Muncie 465 4-speed? It's a 71 with the 4.10 14-bolt on it now, was thinking of going for a 3.42, still want to be able to tow my boat, but want better highway experience. Would 3.23 be too low?

Don't want to take the thread offline, and seriously interested in this part pending the answer to the above.

BTW, I am aware that I will probably have to re-weld the shock and leaf hangers to make this fit my 71.

OOPs - if this is for the gears only, not interested. Looking for a whole axle.
