ok so now that I have no speedo, what do I have to do to get one working again?

New mechanicle speedometer drive solution on ls1 tech been keeping an eye on this thread shoulda be cheaper than the adaptor that street and performance sells cable x and their are some threads on here that have converted their speedo heads to a late model units

You have a square body right? A speedo from an '88-'90 Suburban or Blazer will work and they're electric.

try lookin for a 88-91 suburban/blazer gauge cluster on ebay. or try car-part.com

On the 90-91 cluster, you just run a wire from the back of the cluster to the PCM speedometer output. Easy peasy.

ok....I was checking my harness and it has a wire for that, so it's all good...
