I use to be able to get them on ebay. Thats not the case anymore.

I recently bought a truck with noise on the stock am radio when I drive. The noise is not there when the engine is off. I believe the PO updated the ignition.

I figured I should check if it's the alternator or ground loop from the antenna. Going to try to do that this weekend.

I seem to think most of the electric noise comes from the distributor. I've got the stock AM in mine and it picks up a lot of noise when the truck is running. The transmission is so loud that I can hardly hear the radio until I'm in 4th gear!:lol:

Oops-I wouldn't have known what you were talking about without the picture. Good that you found them. I wonder what the GM name for them is?
