68 swb a years progress

bought this truck from a friend a year ago and wasnt sure what to look for in these trucks as this was my first one. Well after i got it home and started the tear down it was really bad. So the work began and my vision is finally starting to come together hoping to have it done in another month or so.

the day i brought it home

Truck looks great, and what a nice shop. I'm definitely jealous on a few levels. Keep up the great work.

the engine is just a stock truck chevy 350 was gonna cam and heads it but decided not to since i have the camaro. The suspention is pretty basic just 5 inch lowering spring all the way around and 2inch drop blocks in the rear, drop shocks and a home mad adjustable track arm. wheels are riddler 20x8.5 fronts and 20x10 rears with 255/40/20 and 275/40/20 tires. the interior is gonna be put back to mainly stock.

thanks man i think the color turned out perfect. The struck was originally gonna be all stock just lowered with some wheels, but after tearing it apart became a nightmare so it began to become peiced together. I got a better cab from a buddy. Then i bought a 71 chevy texas truck for parts and used the bed and doors and traded him the cab back for the cowl hood and two front fenders so it went from a 67 to looking like a 68

i used some sherwin wiliams base black paint and added in flatener myself to make it that color and ya sorry guys it has come together pretty fast but im lucky enough to have a job with summers off and home alot so i have alot of time to work on it.

thanks lex ive always loved camaro and its deff my baby and was my project before the truck.

thanks stanley the shop was a old horse barn that i transfered into a garage a few years ago couldnt be happier its pretty much where i live
