WTB: Old rusty wrenches

Don't know if this is the best place, but this has the most traffic.

I've been gathering old engine parts for trophies for the Southeastern Truck Nationals and my guy making the trophies needs old wrenches. Anybody have some old rusty ones they would be willing to part with?

Re: WTB: Old rusty wrenches

$50 each plus shipping, I could get quite a few in a $12 flat rate USPS box

Hello Bryan,

Having been involved in trophy making in the past, I can appreciate your situation. The show wants classy trophies, but budgets are always cramped...

$50 each???? REALLY???

I have some old toolboxes that belonged to my Dad. They're in another location, but I'm headed down this weekend. I'll go thru 'em and anything I have is yours. Haven't opened those boxes in years, but they're just gathering dust. Anything I can muster is yours for the shipping. No Promises on what's there, but whatevers there, is yours. How 'bout some old carpenter's tools? I know my Dad was an old school guy and did a ton of finish work. I'll get some pics this weekend.
Have you tried a local flea market? I've seen vendors with tables full of old tools.

Randy, I know what you mean. I made an offer on ebay and misssed the shift key. My offer looked like 450 instead of $50 ! Thank goodness it was thru messaging and not bidding.

Some of those are pretty cool looking old tools.

O.K. Randy - WHEW! - I stand corrected. I am occasionally guilty of "old age farts" myself. I'm sure that was not an intentional error.
.
And Bryan should gobble those up!

$50...!!! each???!!!

just kidding....I was kinda relieved too.. Anyhow. I think i have a couple. I can send them your way for free, just pay shipping.

You might wanna take IronMikes offer, as i don't know how many i got, or if the movers didn't lose them too. I will look tonight.

so are you only wanting wrenches? i got a set of '73 and up Full time 4wd axles that i cant seem to get rid of...lol...theyre rusty too :)

This board has been great for me and my Suburbans.

5150, can you let Randy know how many you want. 10,15,20?

Randy, tell me what the cost plus shipping will be and I will pay that for the cause of the trophies.

Maybe I can make it to that show in the future.

Tim
