3 speed OD pics PLEASE!
 

Some of you may have seen this 68 c10 that I have been parting over the past three weeks LINK and noticed that fact it has a factory 3 speed OD transmission. The 307 2bbl had been replaced with a 250 I6 at some point and the OD was disconnected. I have no idea how it should be hooked up and what it should look like. I have been taking care of 20 wk old daughter today and sat down with my 68 service manual to see just exactly this trans works and it installed. The service manual does a great job explaining, but not a very good job showing linkage and wiring harness installation and operation. Can we strat a thread on reference pics on how these trucks with the OD option look under the hood and under the truck so anyone that would like to upgrade to one of these units could use as a template on how to correctly install one???? Can be for both the I6 and V8 installs.... I know htis is a rare option, but I cant be the only one who has looked at using one of these units in a build. If you have any pics please post and we'll see where this goes.... Thanks in advance...

There are several threads on this. Pictures of installs, rebuilds, under hood and under dash pics. Not sure what you would put in the search though. Im sure others will chime in with links for ya.

I think there are pics in my album of some of the OD stuff.
