Drove the 65 to work today and got tires !
 

Drove the truck the 7 miles to work, farthest it has been driven in over 15 years. I also put on a new set of tires this evening.... went with white walls out, but I think I may like the black wall look better.... it makes the tires look bigger.

Also found the red pull knob for my signal stat flasher I was missing... it came in on an old chevy school bus! looks like new

I like the looks of the white walls with the white wheels. I actually got a new set of thin white walls today too, 235/75/15. Your truck has very cool patina by the way.

I think it is too much white, I might try the wheels black or switch to black walls ...... still trying to decide

looks good! and i like it with the whitewalls out...if the center of your hubcaps were painted, it might help offset some of the white

Yeah, black wheels with thin white walls look good to. That's what I have, with chrome centercaps from a later model Chevy.

I have only had mine since March, but have been wanting it for 20 years, so, kinda know how you feel. I am painting my new wheels at present, and then ordering new rubber, beauty rings, and center caps, will share when I am done.
