i don't know much about the market of these rigs, but i do know that this is rare. is this price fair?

1971Stepside 05-14-2003 04:34 PM

shortbed steps are not rare, but the price sounds pretty fair to me.

TRADE?

I'll trade title for title on a 83 Tecate 250- 3 wheeler. It's kinda like the truck, it needs some TLC.....how far away from Spokane are you?

reeser 05-14-2003 07:42 PM

not really into 4 wheelers, sorry. But seriously, I need cash. Make me an offer and you never know!!! Thanks for the interest

67sss 05-14-2003 07:49 PM

how far from spokane are ya?.............if someone makes me a offer on the 3--wheeler... we'll talk.

reeser 05-14-2003 07:52 PM

im in spokane man! the trucks are 40 mins away in north idaho, but i am sitting in spokane, call my brother at 208-699-7894 if you wanna take a look at them tonight. ask for kevin.

67sss 05-14-2003 08:20 PM

pics ? can't make it over tonite its about a 6 hr drive...

reeser 05-14-2003 08:25 PM

gotcha, i assumed you were in spokane as well...my bad. It takes forever for me to get pics, but I'll try. The cab is rusted on the corners, but I have a cab that's in real good shape that will swap on. This is a very restoreable combination, and I have too many projects and usually work on the kind with transfer cases!

Longhorn Man 05-14-2003 11:55 PM

What makes this short step so rare?

reeser 05-15-2003 12:00 AM

uh, i don't know. had a guy from so cal tell me that they were. maybe they're not....either way, wanna buy it?

67cst 05-15-2003 02:38 AM

crazy...i never knew my 67 short step was concidered rare, just thought they were cool more than anything

tripp 05-15-2003 07:33 AM

rarity

i have a feeling the rarity is in the engine/trans combo. most of the 6 cyl trucks i have seen have a 3 spd manual transmission. i may be wrong.

ZOOMY 05-16-2003 12:43 AM

rare

I think tripp hit it on the head. I've seen hundreds of shorty steps with 6's, but never one with a 6/auto............Zoomy
