6.0 sparkplugs
Anyone have a preference on good plugs for the 6.0?
I was thinking of trying some E3 sparkplugs. |

Forget the E3s or any other gimmick plug for that matter.
You simply can't beat the stock AC Delco Iridium 41-985 (or 41-110 same plug, new p/n) they are 100,000 mi plugs, and perform as well or better than any other. FYI they come pregapped, simply check the gap, according to GM's own TSB, if the gap is incorrect, do not change the gap, return them, and get another plug. |

DO NOT PUT E-3'S in any Chevy with coil packs They will not run right best plug for that truck is an A/c Delco Iridium 41-110 ,don't Gap them even if the box says to they are pregapped , the 41-110's are good for 100k miles just put a dap of anti-seize on the threads
bte there was a post not to long ago about an engine miss noone could figure out and the truck had 2 sets of e3's in it and his problem was cured with a set of ac delcos |

My truck is approaching 99k miles and i am getting ready to change my plugs as well. Is the part number the same for the 8.1L ?

Another one here with a bad E3 experience. I just changed mine last weekend to E3 before I found out all the bad stuff. I noticed the truck ran a little rougher when idling(missing) and we lost about 30 miles from a tank of gas. We normally get about 425-430 miles to a tank and just barely got 400 out of our last tank. I changed my plugs to the AC-Delcos last night.

I just traded a 2002 Olds van and it had the factory plugs in it. 171K miles and still got 25-27 MPG. You cannot do better than the factory plugs.
