Is this a factory rear view mirror???
 

Parting out a 68 C10 and this was what it had for a rear view mirror. Have never seen one like this (but there is a lot I haven't seen). Any ideas?? is it a factory option or some old JC Whitney stuff. says made in USA. Thanks, Fred

Were ther extra holes in the cab? I dig the map light. Dont know where it came from sorry.

No, it was in the original location. No extra holes anywhere.

Did you see the post for replacing the mirror glass? The one they did looked like new. I think you found a cool part there.

You could get them on cars. I had a 70 elcamino with a map light mirror listed on the spid.

It would be nice if this truck had a spid. Wait, it does under several coats of Krylon...

Cars, yeah. But, my dealer book doesn't list anything like that for trucks....didn't see it listed for the El Camino in '69, either. But, I will take another look-see to be sure I didn't overlook it.
