Hello all from the great NorthWet. Just thought I'd show a pic of my recently acquired "66 C20 camper special. It has the Inline 6 292 and the 4 speed granny low. I have already managed to find long tube headers and a like new Clifford intake with a Holley 4 barrel. Next month I am switching my trans out for a 700r4 4-speed auto w/overdrive. Against all advice I'm keeping the Straight 6 :o

That is a very nice '66 C20 :thumbs: There's nothing wrong withan I6. That intake, carb, ignition and headers should wake it right up though. The OD will help out with the low rear gears that is typical in these C20's. The most common ratio seems to be the 4.57's. You might be lucky and have 4.10's. |
