I picked up the crossmember from powdercoat at lunch today. I will the installing on Saturday with the help of board member Dan Ault. Hopefully I can rent an A/C or Evap because its HOT here.

It all looks great! 111...ouch...with that type of weather you could have just sprayed the powder on and left it outside...haha. Good luck this weekend this weekend on the install.

Agreed! Very nice. What's the deal with the tie-rod ends? Are they modified stock pieces, or?

The other thing I notice about this is the sway bar is linked to the upper control arm. Is there some sort of benefit to this?

Fatgump, I hear ya on the 111*, I try to get out in the garage by 7 so I can still breathe, and try and wrap it up before one.

Yes, we link the sway bar to the upper arm. This allows a longer link for smoother transitions, also not so tangled up around the steering. Thanks Gump.
