Re: Check this beast of 57 GMC out
I was looking at one like this on Sunday. It was a fire truck, not a tractor. The only other one I've ever seen like that was also a tractor for a construction company and IIRC it had tandem axles.

Re: Check this beast of 57 GMC out
That's a beast when it's big enough to have air brakes.
That makes for a good looking 4x4 Saber57. You should have enough scrap value out of the left overs to buy something pretty nice for the project. |

Re: Check this beast of 57 GMC out
I'd keep it a big truck. You will get more attention than as a pickup and be able to pull anything with it. If it has air brakes it is a pretty rare truck.

Re: Check this beast of 57 GMC out
did these things have a huge diesel 6-cyl?
trying to figure out what caused such a long front end |
Re: Check this beast of 57 GMC out
I believe it has to do with the size of the tires and suspension. Look at the fender and see how big the wheel opening is.
