Radiator problems
Recently got my new core support, radiator, and radiator mounts. For some reason the lower mounts will not work with my core support unless I do some cutting and even with the lower mounts not even in the radiator still sits 1/2" or more too tall. Anybody else run into problems like this?

Re: Radiator problems
i'm not sure what year you are working on but trimming is necessary if you are running a bigger rad in a 67-68 core support, the later ones are wider in this area.had to trim mine

Re: Radiator problems
Cut mine to put my new 4 core in no problem.

Re: Radiator problems
It's a 69-72 support but even if I cut the support to make the lower mounts fit, looks like its still gonna be way too tall. Might be wrong but i didn't want to cut a brand new core support if it still wasn't gonna work

Re: Radiator problems
69-72 core support, 4-row "direct replacement" aluminum radiator and upper and lower mounts all from classic industries. Don't have part numbers but I can get them when I get home from work if that helps

Re: Radiator problems
My '69 came with a 4-row core radiator. I got a replacement 4-row core unit from a radiator shop. It dropped directly into the rubber mounts w/o any issues. I had already replaced the cab and radiator support mounts, so I'm no help at all, am I?
