69 inner grill gray paint source?
Tried searching this but had no luck. I'm looking for the best shade of gray/paint brand to freshen up the inner grill on the 69 wrecker. It's a gray color now which is probably molded into the plastic but faded and weathered. Want to make it look like 1969 again! :D
Any suggestions? Thanks, |

I think it's called Argent Silver. Probably better to get a pint of acrylic or urethane enamel mixed at a paint store. They can add satin to it to kill the gloss some too.
Anyone else actually tried painting one? I'm interested in the technique too. |
Re: 69 inner grill gray paint source?
With all the 69's on here, I'm surprised not much response to this.
I used to think they were black until I got my wrecker. That is definetly gray but weathered so I'm not sure of the correct shade. I've got all kinds of gray/silver paints on hand; detail gray, cast gray, rally wheel gray, stainless steel, on and on and on but all are a little different from one another. |

I believe the rally wheel grey is argent silver,if that is what the grille is supposed to be
