Oil pressure gauge isnt working

The oil pressure gauge on my 84 isnt working and I dont know why. If anyone has any ideas or fixes I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks

Un hook the wire at the sending unit. Should go to max pressure. Ground tbe wire should go to 0 psi. If that works the sending unit is bad.

Those factory oil pressure gauges are infamous for being inaccurate anyway.
