NOS 70 Grille Insert
 

Talked to my dad about it more, he bought this when he worked at a Chevy dealership in the late 70's and early 80's. The box got wet at some point and got tossed, but it's definately a NOS insert. Checked it out last night and it's a true 70 with the recessed black areas to break up the silver. This has NEVER been installed. No cracks very nice piece. I've got the OK from Dad to sell it, so I'm seeing that re-pops depending on quality, range from 99 for cheap to 240 for a 69. Nobody makes the 70...

Someone doing a full restoration could really use this more than me. Not knowing exactly what something like this is worth, I'll start at 450.00, we'll discuss shipping because it's going to need to be well crated. I'd estimate 50-100 bucks to crate and ship it. I'll be driving back to Wyoming in a week or so if personal delivery works for anyone on the way out.


If you think that's out of line, let me know in my WIW thread so I can adjust the price accordingly. I saw a NOS grille plus insert on here for 1650 and you can buy a new outer for around 800-900..

One major concern would be the sun fading on it, That will greatly reduce the price.

it's been stored indoors its whole life. Black is very black and silver is nice. It's just dusty.
