Anybody have a picture of nice early Custom Deluxe emblems?
 

I picked up a pair of 1974 Custom Deluxe emblems in very good shape. The problem is they were painted with layers and layers of paint so I have no idea of what they are supposed to look like originially. I would like to repaint these so I can get them sold. I did a google search of these emblems and they look like inside the letters is white and outside is black but I seem to remember some with yellow inside the letters. I would appreciate any input.

I just stepped out and took a picture of a nos emblem I have, no yellow.

Silver, but it looks like a plated finish.

I got the custom....But I don't have the Deluxe LOL:lol: And never-mind the "Fuel injection" Sticker. It's just some more crap the PO had on this rig when I got it.

The yellow is only on the dash lettering.

Thanks for taking the time to take pictures for me everyone. Got them all masked off and the black painted today. Gonna remask and paint the silver tomorrow

I've looked at these emblems a million times and never noticed the "d" in deluxe is lower case. LOL
