Power roll down window in suburban First year available?
 

whats the first year a power rear window is available? I have 72 suburban and my buddy and I are thinking about grafting in this set up. Looking to find a donor truck and I need to know the years to look for.

Not sure you can do the power window swap with a 72 since you have a lift up hatch.. You would have to completely rework the rear of your truck to accommodate this.

Yes lots of grafting in metal and re-skinning the rear to get this to work. I just need a donor to make this happen. Do you know what years these suburbans are?

Look for a mid 80's up to '91 models. All Squarebodies.

'77 was the first for power windows so it may be the first year for a power rear?

I have Chevy suburban C20 -77 with Silverado package. Tailgate power window only.
