Looks like a step van in a cab/chassis model to me.I have seen a few of them over the years.Would make a cool trailer toter.Probably a P model of some numerical designation.

Yes they were made by Grummin if I'm not mistaken. There were a ton of those in our region, and years ago they sold them off. I had a buddy that bought one and built it for an enclosed car hauler. The kicker is they are all aluminum so they are super light.

Looks like they are standard goosneck trailers they are towing and not real semi trailers. So pretty well they are toy haulers.

Dodge offers a 4500 series truck which is a regular pickup truck front end and cab with 19" wheels and a full sized fifth wheel hitch. Same with ford and F450s (F550s can go either way, either the small or the big cab). International also did that back in the old days.

It wouldn't surprise me if GM had something similiar as well on a straight frame truck. My GMC M211 could be made into a tractor without too much trouble, but the trailer would have to be either a high sitting milspec one or it'd be sitting at a fair angle I imagine hooked to it (they did make a road tractor version of the M211 as well).

To make a toy hauler there are a lot of possibilities. There very well could have been a number of custom or small run conversions made for towing RV trailers.
