If its in good running condition, no overheating ect. Then yes.

Now that i look at it more, it looks solid. really dirty but solid. couple of hours cleaning it and taking off all of the aftermarket / bubba stuff should look great with a set of hubcaps.

I would try to get him down to $4500. Before I bought my 72 I was looking for a decent Blazer and most of them in that shape were between $4000 and $6000. If the thing has no rust I would buy it.

If it is solid and needs minimal rust repair i.e. rockers, I would buy it in a heartbeat. It is a well optioned truck that has everything there yet AC, air pump, air cleaner, buckets, console, etc. The dash hasn't been cut either. All the original stuff that is normally missing from 40+ years of use and owners is difficult to find and adds lots of dollars to your restoration.

yeeeeeeessssss! I think it's worth it in any state (of the union, not the state of "disrepair") You know what I mean. Looks solid and they aren't a dime a dozen. Grab it! Nice coloe combo for a blazer too.

Depends on how much rust.

All day long!!! As long there is no any hidden rust issues. ;) Looks like it just needs a good clean up.

5K seems right there at the top end for it. But then there are things to consider like the smog system is intact (except for the belt). Those undocumented tow mirrors and the saddle tanks may indicate a harder than adverage life. If the mileage is reasonable and the driveline looks/sounds good then go for it. Make a great restoration project with a killer color combo. If you have any I'd like to see pictures of the saddle tanks.

Depending on what it looks like in person probably, but if you can get it cheaper all the better. I love that color combo, if it were mine I'd ad a white insert though.

I am going to see it in person in a couple of days. The guy selling said it has some rust but not to bad and I should just come and check it out. If its not bad, I think 5K is fair, but I will not be able to make the deal unless he can work with me. I love that it's nice and original. A big thanks to everyone that replied. I will post more pics when I get them.

haha i knew i recognized this blazer. ran across this add about 3 hours ago. and 5000 seems a little steep to me imho...maybe 4000 if it runs great and has little to no heavy rust.

Yes, being so original, you'd be way ahead of the game. Mirrors look factory, I don't see any other holes for other mirrors

yes. you honestly wont find more for less. if it were down here. it would already be gone.

Re: would you personally pay 5K for this blazer

Check the rocker/torsion boxes. I've seen three that had the torsion boxes cut out to install the extra tanks underneath the driver and pass seats.

If the tanks are in the bed by the wheel wells, that shouldn't be an issue.

Other than that, if it's fairly solid, that price is probably in the ball park. Blazers in fair shape just continue to be getting harder and harder to find.

Re: would you personally pay 5K for this blazer

If it were 100% rust free...maybe...but since he says some rust...that means a decent amount of rust to me....

I'm cheap though and wait till I find deals I can afford and always plan on selling later so they have to be a deal where I can make money...

I've bought a lot more for less than that before...
